Course Features
- Japanese class sizes are limited to groups of ten. Students have the opportunity to receive individual guidance from their instructors at weekly clinics to work on individual approaches to improving Japanese language skills.
- Our comprehensive Japanese culture program includes courses in flower arrangement (ka-do), calligraphy (sho-do), and ceramics.
- Students have access to all on-campus facilities and are encouraged to participate in various events to increase their opportunities to meet Japanese students.
- Support is available for students seeking homestay and student accommodations at I-House. Two Japanese students also live at I-House as resident assistants. Students are also free to find their own apartment.
Course Requirements
Students are required to earn 28 credits, with 24 to 28 credits from Japanese language courses.
