Study Abroad Programs for
Outbound Students

Aichi Shukutoku University offers various types of study abroad programs. Students can choose any program according to their personal plans and purposes.

Type 1: Student Exchange Program

When qualified as an exchange student by passing an in-school examination, students are entitled to study at any of Aichi Shukutoku University’s partner universities for half a year or one academic year without taking a leave from Aichi Shukutoku University.

Type 2: Multiple-Degree Program

The “Multiple-Degree Program” is a unique program arranged between Aichi Shukutoku University and Tianjin Foreign Studies University(China).Students who study for 2 years at both universities, thus, a total of 4 years, will be granted a bachelor’s degree from both universities. In the Freshman and Sophomore years, students study at Aichi Shukutoku University, and then, in the next 2 years, for the Junior and Senior years, they study at Tianjin Foreign Studies University.

Type 3: Short-term Study Abroad Programs

These programs offer students the chance to spend about one month during the spring or summer break for a short-term study abroad. Language and culture study involves not just classroom language practice, but experiencing the local lifestyle and interacting with local people.

Type 4: Programs Specific to Individual Faculties and Graduate Schools

These are overseas study programs, which are individually developed and operated by each faculty or department. Some programs are open to students from other faculties or departments.

Type 5: Studying Overseas for Credit

Under this program, you can transfer the credits you have earned in foreign universities with which Aichi Shukutoku University does not have a partnership agreement to your Aichi Shukutoku University record. Students need to pay tuition to Aichi Shukutoku University as well as tuition and other necessary expenses to the foreign university.
