Academic Writing for Non-Native Speakers 2
  1. Understand the standard formats and requirements for writing formal reports and research papers through practical exercises.
  2. Master the appropriate use of written Japanese and correct citation techniques for academic work.
  3. Develop the ability to write reports with appropriate formatting and logical structure.
Elective Classes Tutorial This class provides personalized instruction to address individual weaknesses and further develop strengths. Students will set their own goals and plans, with full support from the instructor to achieve them.
JLPT Preparation Aim to pass the JLPT (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test) and build the necessary skills to succeed.
Japanese Culture & Society I & II Students will explore Japanese culture and society to deepen their understanding of cross-cultural communication.
Flower Arrangement This is a cultural course that offers students the opportunity to study“Kado”, a traditional Japanese artform. Through the study of flower arrangment, particularly of seasonal flowers, the students will study the particular importance of seasons in Japan.
Calligraphy This course focuses on the traditional artform of Shodo, or Japanese calligraphy. Through practical experiences of learning how to prepare the ink, drawing lines, learning to write Hirgana and Kanji, the students will learn form and brush stroke order. Additionally there will be other projects related to word art and stone carving.
