The Major of Hospitality and Tourism Management aims to cultivate individuals who have a broad perspective, flexible thinking, and the practical skills to contribute to the development of local and international communities and tourism. Message from the Dean

As the name of our Faculty suggests, "Global Communication" is indeed one of the most important challenges we have faced throughout history. Communication between people, towns, societies, and countries creates our living spaces and becomes our legacy to pass down to future generations. And now, precisely because of the world we live in, I believe we must reaffirm the significance of communication.

The Faculty of Global Culture and Communication offers the Major of Language Studies and the Major of Hospitality and Tourism Management, allowing students to approach the concept of "communication" from two distinct perspectives. While you will belong to one major, the faculty has a single, unified curriculum, and every course is open to students from either major. The Major of Language Studies offers programs for studying English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese language education. The Major of Hospitality and Tourism Management offers programs in Area Studies, Global Studies, Tourism Hospitality, and Tourism Design. It is by acquiring a wide and, at times, deep range of knowledge that you will be able to cultivate a diverse set of values. Through your studies in this faculty, you can become an individual who is active on the front lines of society, engaging in communication with a variety of people and transcending differences of nationality and culture. We, the faculty members, are committed to closely supporting your academic journey, communicating with you in the classroom, in the field, and through many other opportunities.
