8 Specialized ModulesBusiness AccountingStudents acquire a general knowledge of business accounting, which can be utilized in any industry. The knowledge of business accounting taught in this department is not necessarily the type of knowledge needed only by financial accountants, but is knowledge that every businessperson needs to have. Professional AccountingSpecial training is given in this module to become a tax attorney and/or an accountant, or a finance specialist staff in a corporation utilizing accounting and book keeping knowledge. Monozukuri (craftsmanship)Students learn monozukuri (craftsmanship) concepts of the automobile and textile industries and in the local community to deepen their understanding on the local economy. HospitalityIn the travel, tourism and hotel, etc. accommodation industries, “hospitality” (omotenashi) is a key word. Students obtain general knowledge of service and retail industries. Business ManagementStudents learn comprehensive business knowledge, such as law (corporate law, civic law), which is needed in any industry. Entrepreneurship and Venture BusinessStudents study various subjects of business administration, such as to how to start a business and manage it properly. FinanceStudents learn knowledge and skills, which are necessary to work in the banking industry or for insurance or security companies. IT (Information Technology)Students learn the basics of the development and operation of computer software and also study latest situation of today’s IT industry. 3 Practical ModulesBookkeepingStudents master financial knowledge and acquire skills, which are needed right after employment in industry, and which will help them pass “Official Business Skill Test in Bookkeeping” by Nissho. InformationThis module is designed for students to acquire extensive basic knowledge of information utilization and system development, and also to help them acquire qualifications that will prove useful to them in real-life business situations. LanguageStudents study foreign languages, such as English, Chinese or Korean to improve their practical communication skills and also prepare to take examinations for various kinds of qualifications. |
