Students obtain the knowledge and practical skill to adapt to changes in the social environment and school education systems, and learn to become professional teachers who can teach English in addition to elementary, junior high, high and special needs schools.

Department of Education

Students can select from distinctive groups of subjects to become educators with specific strengths.

From the first year, all students start learning the subjects required to obtain a teaching license for elementary schools. From the second year, students start studying their selected courses, including the subjects required to obtain licenses for junior high, high, and special needs schools. Students are also free to take any subjects in other courses, which allows them to obtain multiple licenses during the four years at university. With our distinctive curriculum, we improve student’s individuality and equip them with the strengths to respond to challenges in the educational field as well-trained teachers.
